FAQ

• What is RenPy?
  RenPy is a free, open-source engine used to create visual novels, combining text, images, and sounds. It allows beginners to create story-driven games with simple scripting while offering advanced users complex, customizable functionality.
• Do I need to learn RenPy?
  You can start using the GUI Kit immediately without knowing anything about RenPy.
  For the RenPy Code Template, as the name suggests, you at least need to have some basic knowledge about making a visual novel with RenPy. It's quite easy even if you have no coding experience. Official "Quickstart RenPy Documentation" and Feniks's "Getting Started with RenPy" are some good starting points.
• Can I use the KOMIC GUI Kit in a different game engine other than RenPy?
  Yes, of course.
  All image assets are provided in PNG format with transparency, making them compatible with any game engine that supports PNG files (Unity, Godot, GameMaker, RPG Maker, etc.).
  Feel free to use the image assets (GUI Kit) in any game engine as you wish.
• KOMIC was originally built for FullHD (1920 x 1080). What if I still want to use KOMIC at a different resolution?
  For the image assets (GUI Kit), yes, you can easily resize them using Affinity, Photoshop, GIMP, MS Paint, or simply an online image resizing tool.
  However, for the RenPy code template, changing the template's resolution will not be easy (it's complicated, you can search "change renpy resolution" for more info). If you plan to use the KOMIC code template, we recommend keeping the FullHD resolution.

• Crediting is not required, but it helps and is always welcome: "KOMIC by One Level Studio"
• You CANNOT redistribute, resell, or repackage this asset pack, even if modified.
• You CANNOT use this asset pack in any crypto, AI, NFT, P2E, or metaverse-related project.
